Job summary

Whiplash Holdings DBA Starbird Chicken in Denver, CO is seeking a Back of House (BOH) team member to help deliver high-quality, fast-paced meals. You will prepare and cook food items per Starbird recipes, maintain cleanliness, and uphold safety standards throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down stations, daily line checks, keeping the kitchen and dining areas inviting, and supporting teammates to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand up to 8 hours.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items using fryers, grills, and ovens.
• Follow all recipes and food safety standards.
• Set up and break down cooking stations.
• Daily line checks to ensure proper temperature of food and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen throughout the shift.
• Keep the dining area, lobby, and restrooms clean and inviting.
• Closing duties including cleaning and storage of food and equipment.
• Communicate effectively and support your teammates to ensure a smooth service.
