Job summary

PURALIMA Cantina is seeking a talented Kitchen Crew member to join our team. You will work alongside our Kitchen Managers in preparing locally sourced vegetables, organic proteins, and produce to create fresh, tasty, and authentic dishes.

This role supports our mission to deliver consistent, high-quality meals that evoke comfort and delight for guests. As a Kitchen Crew Member, you will follow standardized recipes, maintain a clean prep area, and communicate shortages to the Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications

• 1-year back of house experience
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Able to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare food daily in accordance with projected daily sales including special orders and events
• Complete tasks and recipes with consistency and speed
• Practice FIFO
• Maintaining a clean environment - prep tables, hot line coolers, prep sinks, floors, walk-in coolers, walls, storage areas
• Make food Items following standardized recipes and procedures
• Basic knowledge of all items, ingredients, and procedures
• Communicate with Kitchen Manager on any shortages

Position Overview:
