Job summary

PURALIMA Cantina is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Crew Member to assist our team. You will work with our Kitchen Managers to prepare top-quality ingredients and ensure the flavors guests crave are delivered with consistency.

You will help execute recipes, maintain a clean prep area, and communicate shortages. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to grow as we expand our operation.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year back of house experience.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Preferred: experience in fast-casual or from-scratch kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food daily in accordance with projected daily sales including special orders and events.
• Complete tasks and recipes with consistency and speed.
• Practice FIFO.
• Maintaining a clean environment - prep tables, hot line coolers, prep sinks, floors, walk-in coolers, walls, storage areas.
• Make food items following standardized recipes and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of all items, ingredients, and procedures.
• Communicate with Kitchen Manager on any shortages.

Position Overview:

As a Kitchen Crew Member, you will work alongside our Kitchen Managers in preparing our top-of-the-line ingredients - from locally sourced veggies to organic proteins and produce. Your job is to give the guests the flavors they are looking for - fresh, tasty and authentic food. This position will continue to grow as our company does and is an integral part to our continued success.
