Overview:

The Camp of the Hills kitchen provides food service for various ministry programs such as our Rental & Retreat program (typically weekend groups), Outdoor Education program (mid-week student groups), Immerse Discipleship program (young-adult interns), as well as our traditional Summer Camps (week-long camps that run 8-10 weeks in the summer).

The Kitchen Coordinator Assistant will work closely with the Kitchen Coordinator to provide food service for each program and event. Kitchen Staff is responsible for menu planning, proportions and servings calculations, purchase orders, food prep, food service, kitchen clean-up, and general kitchen maintenance. Kitchen Staff will often be working alongside other program staff and kitchen volunteers who help to support large food service events. You will have a responsibility to help maintain a positive work environment and to encourage and support the volunteers who donate their time, money, and efforts to Camp’s mission.
