Job summary

Guernsey Sonic is seeking a Cook to prepare, cook, and package food products following operational and quality standards. You will operate various stations (grill, prep) and ensure sanitation and policy compliance. A flexible schedule with day/evening shifts, weekends and holidays is expected.

The role emphasizes teamwork, basic math/reading, and strong communication to support smooth kitchen operations and timely service.

Qualifications

• Experience in general restaurant or retail setting.
• Basic math and reading abilities.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Ability to follow directions and multitask.
• Ability to move and stock food weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cook, prepare, and package food per standards.
• Operate grill, prep stations and related equipment as assigned.
• Comply with company policies and operational standards.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties (trash, mopping, dishes, surfaces).
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Report issues to MOD.
• Move/stock food weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
