Job summary

Uncle Giuseppe’s is seeking an Overnight Kitchen Clerk to support kitchen operations from 10pm to 6:30am, helping with prep, packaging, and stocking for the next day.

You’ll follow prep lists, wash and chop vegetables, measure ingredients, and assist with sauces and simple dishes while maintaining safety and a clean workspace.

We offer a $1,000 signing and attendance bonus paid in two installments, plus benefits and a team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with at least 1 year of kitchen experience.
• Knowledgeable about health and safety rules in a kitchen.
• Comfortable using kitchen tools and utensils with skill and confidence.
• A team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Able to work the overnight shift 10pm–6:30am.

Responsibilities

• Follow prep lists and set up workstation daily.
• Wash, chop, slice vegetables and ingredients with care.
• Measure and mix ingredients for sides, sauces, and simple dishes.
• Handle basic cooking tasks like reducing sauces and assembling dishes.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized; wash dishes and sanitize surfaces.
• Stock and label ingredients for easy access and prep for the next day.
• Follow nutrition, sanitation, and safety guidelines while working with teammates.
• Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed.

Kitchen Clerk - Overnight Shift (10pm-6:30am)

Overnight roles are eligible for a $1,000 signing and attendance bonus, paid in two installments: $500 after three months and an additional $500 after six months, provided perfect attendance is maintained.

The Overnight Kitchen Clerk is a newly introduced position that supports kitchen operations during overnight hours by assisting with food preparation, packaging, and stocking for the following day. This individual will work closely with the Kitchen Manager and Grab & Go team to ensure products meet quality, safety, and presentation standards, maintain a clean and organized work area, and help set up a smooth and successful morning shift. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, overnight environment.

What You’ll Be Cooking Up

1. Follow prep lists from our chefs and help set up your workstation each day
2. Wash, chop, slice, and dice veggies, and other ingredients with care.
3. Measure and mix ingredients to prepare sides, sauces, and simple dishes like salads and entrees.
4. Handle basic cooking tasks like reducing sauces, parboiling, and assembling dishes.
5. Keep the kitchen sparkling—wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, take out trash, and stay organized.
6. Stock and label ingredients so everything is easy to find and ready to go.
7. Follow nutrition, sanitation, and safety guidelines while having fun with your team.
8. Jump in with other kitchen tasks as needed.
