Job summary

Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace is seeking a Kitchen Clerk to support a fast-paced gourmet kitchen. You will follow prep lists, set up your station, and help with washing, chopping, measuring, and assembling dishes while keeping the kitchen organized and compliant with safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow prep lists from our chefs and help set up your workstation each day.
• Wash, chop, slice, and dice veggies, and other ingredients with care.
• Measure and mix ingredients to prepare sides, sauces, and simple dishes like salads and entrees.
• Handle basic cooking tasks like reducing sauces, parboiling, and assembling dishes.
• Keep the kitchen sparkling - wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, take out trash, and stay organized.
• Stock and label ingredients so everything is easy to find and ready to go.
• Follow nutrition, sanitation, and safety guidelines while having fun with your team.
• Jump in with other kitchen tasks as needed.
