Job summary

Cardenas Markets in Las Vegas is seeking a Kitchen Clerk to deliver quality customer service in a retail kitchen environment. You will be a role model by upholding company values and helping customers with requests.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, stocking displays, maintaining cleanliness and food safety, assisting cooks with dishes, handling orders by phone or in person, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handlers Card.
• Customer Service and retail experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Fills and re-stocks front counter utensils, water sanitizer, vegetables, and drinks.
• Work with various professional kitchen equipment, including heat sources, mixers, and blenders.
• Takes food orders in person and by telephone.
• All other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Kitchen Clerk delivers quality customer service in a retail store environment. The individual is expected to be a role model of the company by delivering excellent customer service while maintaining company core values.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Greet and interact with customers to address questions or concerns in a friendly, service- oriented manner;

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS:

• WALKING: Continuously, throughout shift, while moving about the store and handling merchandise.
• STANDING: Continuously, throughout shift.
• LIFTING: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
