Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Kitchen Cleaner/Dishwasher to join our team at The Converse Home, an assisted living community in downtown Burlington. The ideal candidate will maintain a clean and organized environment in both the Back of House and Front of House areas, including deep cleaning kitchen equipment and workspaces, and sanitizing Front of House furniture.

On Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am to 12 pm, your responsibilities will include dishwashing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning of Back of House equipment and workspaces.
• Clean and sanitize Front of House furniture and communal areas.
• Follow cleaning protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
• Assist with other general cleaning duties as assigned.
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand as required.
• Dispose of waste and recycle materials properly.
• Assist kitchen staff with other tasks as needed to support kitchen operations.
• Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Friendly and respectful attitude toward residents and staff.

Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage of $16/hour.
• Flexible part-time schedule up to 25 hours per week, with required Saturday and Sunday shifts from 8 am to 12 pm; additional hours are flexible.
