Job summary

Cardenas Markets is seeking a Kitchen Cashier in California to deliver outstanding customer service while handling cash accurately in a busy retail setting.

You will support kitchen tasks, assist cooks, restock front counter items, and process refunds and voids following established procedures. Candidates should have food handler credentials and prior retail customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handlers Card.
• Customer service and retail experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Proven track of providing excellent results, shows persistence and perseverance;
• Demonstrates care and compassion for people; shows empathy and concern.
• Maintains standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store conditions and food safety;
• Assists the cooks with making specific dishes;
• Fills and re-stocks front counter utensils, water sanitizer, vegetables, and drinks;
• Follows procedures for voids, refunds, transaction cancellation and all saved recall transactions;
• Responsible for personal Cashier Productivity;
• Takes food orders in person and by telephone;
• All other duties as assigned.
