Koopman Lumber Company is seeking a Kitchen & Bath Designer to blend consultative sales with creative design and project coordination. You will guide customers from initial consultation through completion, delivering high‑quality kitchen and bath solutions while driving sales and strong customer relationships.

The role requires proficiency in 2020 Technologies or similar software, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a busy retail environment.

• Ability to read plans, take measurements, and create accurate layouts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultative sales appointments to understand customer needs, budgets, and timelines.
• Measure job sites and develop accurate kitchen and bath designs.
• Create presentations, proposals, quotes, and design renderings.
• Use 2020 Technologies (or similar software) to produce detailed layouts.
• Develop accurate estimates and manage pricing and margins.
• Place vendor orders and manage special orders according to company procedures.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, and installers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to ensure successful completion.
• Follow up with customers after project completion to ensure satisfaction and generate referrals.
• Prospect for new business and meet or exceed sales goals.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our team. This role combines consultative sales, creative design, and project coordination to deliver high‑quality kitchen and bath solutions for our customers.

You will guide customers from initial consultation through project completion, ensuring a seamless experience while driving sales and building long‑term relationships.

What You’ll Do
