Wisconsin Building Supply, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a Kitchen & Bath Designer to work in a retail design center. You will assist customers and builders with design and product selection, take measurements, and prepare designs within stock and semi-custom options.
Responsibilities include soliciting new accounts, conducting site visits, preparing proposals, coordinating schedules and deliveries, and acting as a liaison among customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
Wisconsin Building Supply operates locations throughout Wisconsin supplying windows, doors, roofing, siding, millwork, builders hardware, columns, trim, mouldings, cabinetry, countertops, decking, railing, gypsum, lumber & plywood, insulation, and additional building materials.
The Kitchen & Bath Designer will work in a retail environment with customers and builders to assist with the design and product selection process. This position will also follow up with customers and builders to ensure the job is completed in a timely manner. The Kitchen & Bath Designer must also possess an extensive knowledge of the products they represent and the ability to serve their client's needs. This position will also solicit new accounts and make job site visits.
60 hours of NKBA professional development programming or equivalent technical degree preferred.
3-7 years of Kitchen & Bath industry experience required.
Advanced computer-aided drafting skills, salesmanship, good verbal communication skills and design presentation skills.
Advanced knowledge of kitchen and bathroom design, general knowledge in all aspects of design and construction and of building materials
Broad knowledge of all other items sold, various countertop products, cultured marble, sinks, faucets, etc.
Maintain a valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in the state of sales activity required.
