Western States Cabinets Inc. is seeking a Kitchen & Bath Designer/Sales professional for our Los Alamitos showroom.

This on-site role combines design expertise with consultative selling to deliver customized cabinetry solutions for residential projects. You will meet clients, develop layouts and quotes, present proposals, and guide selections to close projects while maintaining showroom displays and building long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Kitchen & Bath design with space planning and product selection for homes.
• Proven sales abilities, including consultative selling, quoting, and closing in-showroom.
• Excellent customer service and communication to build trust and manage expectations.
• Proficiency with design software (Design Flex 2020) and basic computer skills.
• Able to read floor plans and construction documents; experience with contractors is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Prior experience in kitchen and bath design, cabinetry sales, Masterbrand products a plus.

Responsibilities

The Kitchen & Bath Designer/Sales role is a full-time, on-site position based in Los Alamitos, CA. This role is responsible for meeting with clients in the showroom, understanding their needs and preferences, and creating detailed kitchen and bath designs using cabinetry product lines and design tools. Daily tasks include preparing layouts, quotes, and proposals, guiding clients through material and finish selections, and following up to close sales and ensure project satisfaction. You are the driver of your own BUS. This position involves maintaining showroom displays, responding to inquiries, and providing professional, consultative service to build long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Kitchen & Bath Design, including space planning and product selection for residential projects.
• Proven Sales abilities, including consultative selling, quoting, and closing projects in a showroom environment.
• Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to build trust, manage expectations, and support clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proficiency with design software (2020 aka Design Flex), and basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and understand floor plans and construction documents; experience working with contractors or builders is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Prior experience in kitchen and bath design, cabinetry sales, and Masterbrand products a plus.
