Job summary

Dash In seeks a Kitchen Associate to join a BOH team in a 24/7 retail environment. You will prepare meals, ensure safety and quality, and maintain a clean, organized prep area while delivering a great guest experience. Flexibility to work various shifts and lift up to 65 pounds is required.

Ideal candidates have a GED or high school diploma, 1 year of food service experience, and are authorized to work in the U.S. Active ServSafe or similar certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or able to complete program
• 1 year of food service experience preferred (line cook or prep)
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights and weekends
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18+ years old
• Background check and drug screening required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items following safety, sanitation and quality standards
• Monitor prep levels and keep station organized and clean
• Restock, organize, and maintain a tidy prep area
• Receive, store and place deliveries appropriately
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and appearance
• Engage with guests to provide a personalized experience
• Operate food service equipment safely and efficiently
• Handle heavy containers (5-gallon, 50–65 lbs) when required
