Job summary

AC&T Co. Inc. is seeking a Kitchen team member to serve customers promptly and prepare delicious food on-site. You will operate stove, oven and steamer, prep salads, bake cakes, and maintain kitchen cleanliness while following store policies. Must be able to work weekends and extended hours as needed.

You will also manage inventory and assist with catering orders, ensuring safety and quality across all kitchen activities.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or work permit.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to react to a fire by lifting a 20 lb fire extinguisher.
• Able to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Able to work in a 38°F cooler for up to 15 minutes.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays and extended hours when needed.
• Experience: Kitchen/Cook, 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate stove, oven and steamer, handling pots up to five gallons.
• Prepare salads, break down products for immediate use, and create items for hot, cold and catering units.
• Bake cakes, frost and box; transport prepared items to ovens and service areas.
• Wash dishes; maintain a clean, organized kitchen and comply with safety standards.
• Maintain inventory control and safekeeping of equipment and store records.
• Follow manager guidelines and store policies; adhere to health and safety regulations.
