Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service is seeking Kitchen Assistants to support the culinary team under the Head Chef and Sous Chef. You will help prepare dishes, maintain a clean kitchen and dining area, and stock supplies while promoting a positive atmosphere with coworkers and customers.

The role requires prior kitchen experience, a food safety handler certification (or ability to obtain one within 30 days), and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a full-service restaurant as prep/line cook.
• Food safety handler certificate or obtain within 30 days.
• Able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food as directed by Head Chef and Sous Chef.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area.
• Stock supplies in serving stations and storage areas.
• Unloading deliveries and organizing stock.
• Communicate with management via calls, emails, and texts.
