Qualifications

• Strong knife skills and ability to assist with meal preparation efficiently.
• Knowledge of food industry standards related to cleanliness, safety, and sanitation.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team-oriented environment with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new culinary skills and adapt to various kitchen tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals according to menu specifications
• Support cooking activities by following recipes and safety guidelines to ensure quality and consistency
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
• Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and hygiene standards
• Help with meal service by setting up serving stations and assisting staff during busy periods
• Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients and suggesting improvements based on operational needs
• Contribute to catering events or special meal occasions as needed to ensure timely and efficient service
