Qualifications

• English fluency with reading, writing and speaking ability.
• High School Equivalency diploma required.
• ServSafe certification within first year of hire.
• Minimum one year of professional work experience.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in kitchen operations and customer service activities.
• Delegate tasks to staff and monitor timely completion and food safety compliance.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager to meet health department standards and HACCP requirements.
• Supervise food service workers in the Kitchen Manager's absence.
• Submit orders, inventory, maintenance requests and production sheets as required by USDA rules.
• Attend meetings, trainings and professional development sessions.
• Protect student eligibility information and assist with inventory management.
• Keep kitchen staff informed of district communications and updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
