Job summary

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania Elizabethtown Campus is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to support cooks by preparing ingredients for salads, garnishes, desserts, and helping with plating and presentation. The role requires following recipes, maintaining clean stations, and assisting on the serving line.

Pay starts at $15 per hour and depends on experience. Full-time or part-time positions available on days and evenings.

Qualifications

• Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.
• Willing to receive on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Peel, dice, shred fruits and vegetables and prepare ingredients for salads, garnishes, and desserts.
• Read, understand, and follow standardized recipes and production sheets.
• Prepare and portion salads and desserts and assist with plating and presentation of foods.
• Keep stations stocked and clean; assist with serving line and buffet setup.
