Job summary

Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for the Elder Center in Mayetta, KS. You will help with cooking, meal prep, and delivering meals to Elders.

You will maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen, interact respectfully with staff and guests, and assist with Elder Center activities as needed. Must have a HS diploma or GED and up to six months of relevant experience. Position includes full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Up to six months of applicable kitchen experience.

Responsibilities

• Aid in overall Elder Center kitchen functions, including cooking and meal preparation.
• Deliver meals to Elders' homes and maintain a clean, sanitary environment.
• Communicate respectfully with Elder Center staff and guests.
• Assist with Elder Center activities as requested.
