Job summary

Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Kitchen Assistant Dishwasher to maintain a clean, safe dining and service environment for residents. You will operate the dishwashing equipment, handle sanitation, and support the culinary team with hospitality and care.

The role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed. Official company benefits support resident-focused care and compensation will reflect experience.

• Experience in a similar position preferred but not required.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware and equipment.
• Empty dish machine and store clean items properly.
• Clean preparation and service areas to health code requirements.
• Take all garbage to the dumpster.
• Launder table linens.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the culinary team as a Kitchen Assistant. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and serveware. The culinary team enhances Legend’s Gold Leaf Dining experience, which sets a high standard for atmosphere and food quality.

Responsibilities--Kitchen Assistant Dishwasher

• Operating the dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware and food service equipment
• Emptying dish machine and properly storing clean items
• Cleaning the preparation and service areas according to health code requirements
• Taking all garbage to the dumpster
• Laundering table linens
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
