Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Gainesville, FL, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant Dishwasher to support the culinary team. You will help maintain a clean kitchen and serveware, enabling the Gold Leaf Dining experience that defines our high standards of atmosphere and quality.

As a valued team member, you’ll operate the dish machine, keep areas sanitary, and collaborate with residents and staff to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness of kitchen and serveware.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware and food service equipment.
• Empty dish machine and properly store clean items.
• Clean the preparation and service areas according to health code requirements.
• Take all garbage to the dumpster.
• Launder table linens.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the culinary team as a Kitchen Assistant. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and serveware. The culinary team enhances Legend’s Gold Leaf Dining experience, which sets a high standard for atmosphere and food quality.
