Legend Senior Living is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help maintain a clean, efficient dining environment for residents. You will operate dishwashing equipment, store clean items properly, and support the culinary team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

You will also interact with residents and staff, supporting daily food service operations while following company policies and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware and food service equipment.
• Empty the dish machine and properly store clean items.
• Clean preparation and service areas according to health code requirements.
• Take all garbage to the dumpster.
• Launder table linens.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
