Aspen Court Nursing and Dementia Care Home is a modern, purpose built care home on the northern outskirts of Taunton. This kitchen assistant role supports meals, maintains kitchen cleanliness, and assists with deliveries and stock in a safe environment.

You will work with the Chef and team to ensure smooth daily operations, while building experience in a supportive kitchen. The role offers a consistent routine within a respected care setting.

• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.

Aspen Court Nursing and Dementia Care Home is a modern, purpose built care home located on the peaceful northern outskirts of Taunton, Somerset. The home provides specialist Nursing, Dementia and Complex Care for up to 42 residents in a safe and supportive environment focused on dignity, wellbeing and person centred care.

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 40 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
