About You

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will help prepare and serve nutritious meals, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene. Your responsibilities include managing food supplies, showing new starters how to use equipment, and cleaning as needed, always prioritizing Resident wellbeing.

You should have some kitchen experience or an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation, or be willing to obtain one. Good organizational skills, the ability to follow recipes, and considerate communication are essential. Safeguarding awareness is also required, including recognizing signs of abuse or neglect and knowing how to report concerns.
