We are seeking a creative, sales driven and client-focused Designer to deliver high-quality, luxury spaces while contributing to our collaborative, sales-forward showroom culture. You will guide clients from initial consultation to final execution, providing white-glove customer service every step of the way.

- Job Type: Full-time (Includes scheduled showroom hours/floor coverage)
Core Responsibilities
Client Design & Project Management
- Consult with clients in our showroom and on-site to assess needs, goals, and budgets.
- Create accurate designs and 3D renderings using company-approved software (2020 Design).
- Conduct on-site measurements to ensure precise specifications and material cost estimates.
- Guide material selection (finishes, products, samples) using our showroom and vendor partners.
- Present comprehensive proposals featuring product selections and 3D renderings to clients.
- Manage project timelines and coordinate seamlessly with contractors, tradespeople, and team members.
- Deliver white-glove service by keeping clients proactively informed of timeline updates or changes.
Design Standards & Development
- Maintain precise customer files in shared company drives and accounting software, partnering with Design Assistants.
- Apply expert technical knowledge regarding room layouts, material specifications, and sound design judgment.
- Stay ahead of industry trends through personal development, team meetings, vendor training, and industry events.
Team Collaboration & Showroom Operations
- Participate actively in monthly Design Team meetings and collaborative showroom culture.
- Provide showroom floor coverage according to the scheduled hours.
- Utilize support staff efficiently, including Design Assistants, Showroom Coordinators, and the Business Manager.
- Collaborate on showroom displays, updating vignettes and displays to reflect current trends and best-sellers.
Communication & Scheduling
- Manage personal timelines and workloads using Monday.com and shared office calendars.
- Proactively flag design challenges or project issues to the Owner/Manager in a timely manner.
- Offer constructive input on showroom policies, displays, and operational process improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven experience in residential kitchen and bath design, interior design, or space planning.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in 2020 Design or similar industry-standard CAD design software.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of NKBA guidelines, field measuring, and construction/trade coordination.
- Project Management: Excellent time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple client timelines simultaneously.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration.
