Job summary

Early Advantage Developmental Child Care Center LLC in Byron, MN is seeking a Kitchen Aide to support daily meal prep, dishwashing, and classroom food delivery. Work is in a fast-paced kitchen with opportunities to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for all children and staff
• Completes daily sanitation duties, including but not limited to; – After meal dishes – Morning/Afternoon toy and classroom sanitations – Morning/End of day sanitation loads
• Assisting the Kitchen Manager with daily duties, following direction and requests
• Properly assist Kitchen Manager during meal prep and distribution of items to all classrooms Keeps refrigerators/freezers and all stored food areas clean and neat
• Ensures all food and supply items are stored per standards
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
• Completes daily laundry loads – Returning items to proper classrooms – Loading, switching and properly running machines
• Sweeping and mopping at the end of shift, leave the kitchen clean and ready for the next day

Main responsibilities will include running a dishwasher, helping with prepping food, delivering food to our different classrooms, doing laundry, and keeping a clean work environment. There is some flexibility in hours, and we can offer part-time or full-time hours depending on what you are looking for. No nights or weekends!
