Job summary

BluePrints is hiring a Kinship Support Specialist to maintain contact with County Children and Youth Services and private providers, attend court hearings, and ensure compliance with laws and agency policies. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field and two years’ experience with children and families.

  • Maintain contact with County Children and Youth Services and private providers involved with the program.
  • Attend court hearings and meetings related to job duties.
  • Understand and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and professional credentialing standards.
  • Understand and maintain compliance with agency policies.
  • Understand and maintain compliance with agency contracts with Children and Youth Services agencies, completing all paperwork associated with the position and meeting deadlines as outlined within such contracts.
  • Provide ongoing collaboration with community resources and update Kinships Caregiver handbook as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with businesses, social service agencies, and other such organizations within the communities served.
  • Complete all Kinship Supports Intervention model responsibilities.
