The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Kinship Caseworker to support child placement assessments and case management for relatives and non-relatives. This full-time position involves working collaboratively with service teams and ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will have a degree in human services and relevant experience in child protection.
The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Kinship Caseworker to join our Shared Services department. The Kinship Caseworker will be responsible for the emergent and non-emergent assessment of relatives and non-relatives for the placement of children in the custody of FCCS, managed by PFSN. This position will be responsible to ensure compliance is met with ODJFS as well as TBR/ PFSN policy and procedures. The caseworker will work closely with PFSN service teams, TBR foster care staff, and Placement Specialists. The caseworker will assist kinship caregivers will ongoing case management which includes but is not limited to referrals for services, support, and financial resources. The position requires the person to be flexible due to agency needs; early morning and evening hours are possible and expected if needed. The person is required to be on-call according to the established rotation.
