Job summary

Advanced Air, LLC seeks a King Air 350 Check Pilot to lead training, evaluation, and standardization for pilots operating under Part 135 and EAS routes. You will mentor instructors and serve as PIC when required, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and SOPs.

The role reports to the Chief Pilot and works with the Director of Training and Operations, with duties including line checks, proficiency checks, and safety oversight across on-demand charter operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid high school diploma or GED.
• CFI/CFII/MEI certificates preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of FAR 91, 61 and AIM Part Sections 4 & 5.
• 1,000 hours total time with 500 PIC and other required flight hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead King Air 350 training, evaluation, and mentoring for pilots.
• Administer proficiency, line, and route checks under Part 135.
• Maintain SOP compliance and CRM during operations.
• Provide debriefs and recommend corrective training when needed.
• Support FAA observations, audits, and standardization efforts.
