University of North Carolina at Greensboro is seeking an Academic Professional Track Assistant/Associate Professor to serve as the Physical Activity Instructional Program Coordinator for the Department of Kinesiology. This is a 9-month appointment with the potential to teach summer classes.

Qualifications

• Experience organizing community- or institution-based physical activity programs.
• Ability to teach human anatomy/physiology and/or certifications from ACSM/NSCA or similar.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses such as Strength Training and Conditioning, Lifetime Wellness, Physical Activity Instruction, and Exercise Prescription.
• Coordinate the physical activity instructional program (scheduling, equipment management).
• Onboard, train, and supervise 12-15 graduate assistants at the fall semester start.
• Advise undergraduate students on course selections and graduation planning.
• Engage in departmental, university, and community service with athletics and wellness programs.
