Job summary

• Notify supervisor when supplies or equipment should be replaced; maintain lost and found articles; maintain first-aid supplies; set up equipment for classes.
• Assist faculty and coaches as needed; assign lockers and maintain records of assignments; maintain locker room cleanliness and rest rooms.
• Oversee field preparation and cleanliness of related facilities and assist with temporary staff as needed.

Typical Duties

Issue, receive, check, store and inventory athletic equipment, clothing, and towels; maintain, clean and repair athletic equipment, clothing and towels; stencil and mark equipment and clothing; notify assigned supervisor/manager when supplies, clothing or equipment should be replaced; maintain lost and found articles; maintain first-aid supplies; set up equipment for classes; assist faculty and coaches as needed; assign lockers and maintain records of assignments; maintain cleanliness of locker room, shower, storage room, faculty lounge and rest rooms; perform marking or lining of athletic fields and other field preparation; oversee temporary staff. Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

EXPERIENCE: One year of experience related to the duties of the position.

Then take the percentage of hours worked multiplied by the percentage of months worked to get the position’s FTE (e.g., a position that is 30 hours per week with a work year of 10 months: 30/40 = 0.75; 10/12 = 0.8333; 0.75 * 0.8333 = 0.625 FTE).
