Job Summary: Operating under the direction of the School Principal, the Elementary Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with state standards. The teacher fosters a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes academic growth, social-emotional development, and positive behavior. Responsibilities include assessing student progress, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and maintaining clear communication with families. The teacher collaborates with colleagues and administrators to support and encourage student success.

Job Responsibility Description

Qualifications:

Working Conditions: 188 days/year

Selection Procedure: Position is posted temporary for the 2026-27 school year

Salary & Benefits:

Teacher Base Pay Salary Schedule Range: $50,765 - $105,998 based on one (1) FTE at one hundred eighty eight (188) days.

Hiring Range for External Candidates: $50,765 - $87,145 Teachers are initially placed according to experience. Teachers new to the District may be granted up to 15 years of experience, provided the experience occurred within the last 20 years in accordance with the MVEA Agreement.
