BASIS Phoenix Primary is seeking a Kindergarten Teaching Fellow to join our bright teaching team. This role offers the chance to learn BASIS Charter School methodologies and prepares you for future classroom teaching opportunities.

Responsibilities include supporting teachers, managing student progress, and assisting with events, labs, and testing. Bachelor’s degree required and a Fingerprint Clearance Card is necessary for employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Willingness to take and pass the NES Elementary Education Assessment if necessary.
• Willingness to acquire and maintain current practices in BASIS Charter School teaching methodologies.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Teach classroom lessons part-time or as a substitute under supervision.
• Assist teachers with classroom management and student support.
• Tutor students and monitor progress; help with events, labs and testing.
• Support school Deans/Directors of Student Affairs with behavior management and program execution.
