Job summary

Lowe Elementary in Princeton, Texas is seeking a Kindergarten Teacher for an immediate start to deliver foundational literacy and numeracy experiences and engage students in social and emotional development within the district curriculum.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree, a valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements, demonstrate classroom management and collaboration skills, and collaborate with parents and specialists to support every student's growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training/work experience for certification waivers under the DOI.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• AED/CPR certification if applicable for PE role (if listed).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Plan instructional strategies and use appropriate materials and technology to address diverse learners.
• Assess student learning styles and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Work with staff to set instructional goals and methods per district requirements.
• Supervise instructional aides and volunteers and oversee completion of tasks.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with parents, students, colleagues, and the community.
