Job summary

BASIS Pflugerville Campus seeks a Kindergarten Teacher to join a bright, passionate team in a high-performing network. The role focuses on delivering rigorous early education aligned with BASIS standards and supporting student growth.

The candidate should have a bachelor's in education, be eligible to work in Texas Public Schools, and obtain TEA fingerprint clearance. Preferred candidates include 3+ years of elementary teaching and a master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Eligible to work in Texas Public Schools.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related subject.
• Ability to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance through TEA.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students’ academic and social growth and prepare progress reports.
• Communicate with parents via email, conferences, and other means to discuss student progress.
• Identify student needs and collaborate with Subject Experts to assess and help solve health, attitude, and learning problems.
• Provide differentiated instruction and execute IEPs and 504 Plans with fidelity.
• Substitute/duty coverage as needed.
• Supervise students during classroom transitions throughout the day.
• Represent BASIS Ed Texas at designated school-wide events outside of typical hours.

Other Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Evaluating students� academic and social growth, keeping appropriate records, and preparing progress reports
• Communicating with parents via email, conferences, and other means to discuss student progress
• Identifying student needs and cooperating with the Subject Experts or other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems
• Providing differentiated instruction and executing IEP�s and 504 Plans with fidelity
