St. George School seeks a passionate Kindergarten Teacher to join its dynamic Early Learning Team. We are looking for a Kindergarten Teacher to join our dynamic Early Learning Team and innovative school community beginning in the 2025/26 School Year.
The ideal candidate for this position will bring a passion for working with a diverse classroom of children, addressing their unique needs with care and dedication. This role involves close collaboration with our early learning and special education teams, within a community school that champions innovation, fosters collaboration, builds strong community partnerships, and is deeply committed to the success and well-being of every child.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the Science of Reading and experience or knowledge of elementary curriculum. Additionally, strong classroom management skills and experience with differentiating curriculum and developmental expectations are required.
This position requires an Early Elementary (029) or K-8 Certification (020) and Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check certifications.
