Job Description

Ad Prima Charter Schools is a Blue Ribbon K-8 school in Philadelphia. Ad Prima is seeking a full time Kindergarten Teacher. Job responsibilities include the ability to teach students of different ability levels.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Teach courses in Mathematics, ELA, Social Studies, and Science following the course of study adopted by the school and curriculum.
• Utilize an adopted course of study, instructional program guidelines, and other materials in planning and developing lesson plans, and teaching outlines.
• Pursue a variety of methodology in teaching and instructing students including lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and hands on experiences.
• Plan and develop a variety of instructional materials appropriate to support students at various ability levels.
• Coordinate with staff student success
• Provide instruction and support in citizenship
• Participate and support the IEP Planning Process
• Foster a positive, safe, nurturing environment for staff and students
• Maintain positive relationships with staff, students, parents, and stakeholders
• Coordinate and deliver professional development for staff and parents
• Other Responsibilities as necessary
