Job summary

Bright Horizons seeks a Kindergarten Prep Teacher in Lexington, MA to guide a teaching team, design engaging activities for 4–5 year olds, and maintain open parent communication. You will ensure safety and adapt procedures to meet state and company guidelines.

The role emphasizes growth opportunities, background checks, and a commitment to developmentally appropriate practice. A CDA or related degree is valued, with in‑person work required in our Lexington center.

Qualifications

• Must pass state and company background checks.
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required.
• College coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or related degree preferred.
• 1 year of professional teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required.

Responsibilities

• Guide a teaching team to create plans, goals, and lead hands-on activities for 4- and 5-year-olds.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
