Bright Horizons is hiring a Kindergarten Prep Teacher in North Reading, MA. You will guide a teaching team, plan and lead hands-on activities for 4- and 5-year-olds, and maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones, ensuring a safe, nurturing classroom.

Qualifications

• Must pass state and company background checks.
• 18 years of age or older with a HS diploma or GED.
• College coursework in early childhood education (ECE), CDA, or an associate/bachelor’s in ECE or related field preferred.
• 1 year of professional teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required.

Responsibilities

• Guide a teaching team to create plans, goals and lead hands-on activities for 4- and 5-year-olds.
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.
• Comply with immunizations, employment physicals/screenings and safety training.
