Jubilee Academies Jubilee Brownsville in Brownsville, TX seeks a Paraprofessional for Kindergarten to support students with disabilities and at‑risk learners. The role works full‑time under a grant, reporting to teachers and campus principal, with a 7:30 a.m. start and 190 workdays annually.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, 48+ college hours or a Texas Educational Aide Certificate, and prior classroom experience assisting reading, writing and math readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completed 48+ semester hours or valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate.
• Ability to work well with children and follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and students.
• Knowledge of general office equipment and safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with instructing and supervising students, focusing on at‑risk students.
• Develop individualized activities and provide one‑on‑one or small group supervision.
• Maintain a neat classroom, assist with inventory and records, and support substitute teachers.
• Supervise lunch, playground, and other duties as assigned.
