Job summary

Jubilee Academies is seeking a Paraprofessional to provide instructional support for students with disabilities or at-risk learners. The role focuses on assisting teachers, reinforcing skills, and maintaining an orderly classroom throughout a full-time schedule.

The position is grant-funded and non-exempt, reporting to campus administration. Applicants should have the required education credentials and prior classroom experience as indicated.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed 48+ semester hours at an Institute of Higher Education or valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with instructing and supervising students in classroom activities, focusing on at-risk students.
• Assist teacher in devising and implementing strategies for reinforcing skills based on student needs.
• Assist with administration and scoring of objective tests and assignments.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom and assist with equipment care and maintenance.
• Prepare required reports and records and assist substitutes as needed.
