Job summary

Wayzata Public Schools ISD 284 is seeking a Kindergarten Supervisor to support learning during the school day. The role is 2.5 hours daily, from 11:00 to 1:30 on student contact days, focusing on small group work, read-aloud activities, and 1:1 interactions to monitor and assist student progress.

Responsibilities

• Supervise kindergarten students during the school day.
• Engage in small group work and reading aloud with students.

• Support the learning environment on student contact days from 11:00 to 1:30.

Position Description

The person in this position will be responsible for supervision of kindergarten students during the school day. The successful candidate will work 2.5 hours a day and have the chance to support the learning of kindergarten students. Duties include small group work/support, read alouds, 1:1 student interaction and assessment, supervision of an entire classroom, kindergarten recess, etc. Hours are 11:00-1:30 on student contact days.
