Edmonds School District is seeking a Paraeducator I to support Kindergarten classrooms. This 3.75-hour daily, 181-day position assists with instructional support, student supervision, and material preparation, working with certificated staff to help create safe, engaging learning environments.

The role is non-continuing for the 2026-2027 school year. Hourly rate ranges from $29.61 to $33.52, with eligibility for SEBB benefits after meeting hours.

Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Meet one of the listed education/experience options (associate degree or higher; 72 quarter credits; 48 semester credits; apprenticeship).
• Must pass PESB approved assessments or have completed related training.
• Successful candidates complete mandatory in-person training prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with certificated staff in classrooms or other learning environments.
• Assists with instructional support and student supervision duties; prepares educational materials; monitors progress, behavior, and safety.
• Performs routine clerical tasks to support teachers and district staff.
