Qualifications

• 48 undergraduate college credits, or
• Meeting or exceeding the State-determined passing score of 464 on the Paraprofessional (ParaPro) Assessment or the WorkKeys Assessment
• Non-violent crisis intervention trained
• Early childhood education or experience supporting students with development
• Ability to speak Albanian, Arabic, Nepali, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, or an African Language, and/or American Sign Language.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, correcting and reinforcing lessons with individual and small groups.
• Assist in preparation and inventory of instructional materials and setup of classroom learning aids.
• Support student personal care needs and supervision during meals and activities.
• Maintain communication with teacher and support staff while protecting student confidentiality.
• Assist with attendance, filing, and organization of instructional materials.
