Qualifications

• Assist in delivering course objectives and curriculum guidelines per state/district requirements.
• Assist with lesson plans, grading assignments and record keeping.
• Maintain files including attendance and grades with confidentiality.
• Operate classroom equipment and AV/office machines to prepare materials.
• Provide instructional support to students individually or in groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher or assigned professional in delivering course objectives and outline of course of study per guidelines.
• Assist teacher in implementing lesson plans; grading and record keeping.
• Maintain and file attendance and grade records with confidentiality.
• Assist students individually or in groups with lesson assignments.
• Operate equipment and AV tools to prepare classroom materials.
• Support students and reinforce learning concepts in groups or individually.
• Help maintain classroom rules and protect a positive learning environment.
• Assist in coordinating field trips and enrichment activities.

Education
