Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and an associate degree or higher
• Two years of college coursework or equivalent experience considered
• Passing score on ParaPro required
• Co State and FBI fingerprinting background checks required
• First Aid and CPR certification required
• Willingness to learn the Classical education model and Miss Mason’s philosophy

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in the classroom using the classical model and data-driven decisions
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs within one classroom
• Provide supervision in halls, drop-off, lunch, and pick-up areas
• Read books to classes or groups and help with formative assessments
• Maintain scholar records in accordance with school policies
• Assist in storing classroom equipment and materials and ensure safety
