Job summary

The Greater Cincinnati School Application Consortium seeks an Educational Aide to support Kindergarten students in behavioral and independence goals at North College Hill City Elementary School. The position reports to the Principal and Pupil Personnel Director for the 2026-2027 school year.

Applicants must have an associate degree or higher (or 48 semester hours), pass the ParaPro exam with official score report, and upload transcripts to OH/ID as required to obtain the Highly Qualified Aide

Responsibilities

• Assist in Kindergarten classroom to support behavioral and student independence.
• Support small groups and individual students as directed by the teacher.

Location: North College Hill City Elementary School

Reports to: Principal & Pupil Personnel Director

Date of Employment: 2026-2027 School Year

Licensure: Ability to obtain a Highly Qualified Aide permit under ESEA;

• Pass the Parapro exam (submit your official ParaPro exam score report from the Education Testing Service (EST) reflecting your passing score with your application);
• You must have an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university, or at least two years of study (defined as 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours) at an accredited college or university (scan and upload your original, official transcripts per system direction to your OH/ID account or mail them to the Office of Educator Licensure. Please refer to the Educational Aide and Student Monitor Permits webpage for instructions on submitting transcripts.
