Position: Daycare - Kindergarten Support Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher to help implement an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child, in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning approach. Free training provided!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily classroom functions for a group of children
• Follow regulations related to health, safety, and care at Primrose School at Gray Eagle and regulatory agencies
• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for kindergarten children
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans provided for you
• Apply positive behavioral guidance strategies to ensure a safe learning space
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
• Support individual learning needs and promote social and emotional growth

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency
• Classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for nurturing and educating young children
• Previous experience in a licensed early childhood education setting preferred
• Knowledge of social, emotional, and creative needs of young children

Salary Range: $15-$18

Shift Schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (with 1-hour lunch break)
