Qualifications

• Education: Passed the ParaPro Test with a score of 457 or higher.
• Experience: Experience working with young children preferred.
• Language: Reads and comprehends simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Writes simple correspondence.
• Math: Adds and subtracts two-digit numbers and uses money, weight, volume, and distance.
• Reasoning: Applies common sense to carry out simple instructions.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepares materials for instruction.
• Provides planning time for teachers, including outdoor activities, rhythm activities, and story time.
• Provides lunchroom assistance.
• Supervises school-based routines, such as dismissal, restroom, etc.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.
